Mailing Labels in CILs First

We have worked diligently to clean up the consumer mailing list in CILs First. We need your assistance to ensure that it is kept up-to-date. As you complete monthly contacts, please use the instructions below to update the Mailing Lists tab.

To begin the process of adding a consumer to our mailing list, click on the Mailing List tab of the consumer’s record.

  • The screen below will appear. Click the Add a New Mailing Lists Record button.
  • The following screen will appear. Select Consumer (regular print) from the Mailing List drop down menu and click the Save Record button. Please ignore the Consumer (large print) and Consumer (braille) options as they are not currently available.
  • Once the record is saved it will look like this.

We still want to keep closed consumers apprised of WILS’ happenings so they do not need to be removed from the mailing list. However, if a consumer passes away, the mailing list record should be removed from their file. Also, should a consumer transfer from I & R to Intake, the mailing list record will need to be removed from the I & R record then added to their intake record. Keep in mind that the mailing list record does not carry over when duplicating a consumer’s record so you will need to create it. To request the mailing list record be removed from a consumer’s file or if you have further questions regarding this process, please submit a ticket to the IT Help Desk.
