Independent Living Specialist, Full-Time
The Independent Living (IL) Specialist coordinates and delivers Independent Living services in homes and community settings while overseeing multiple programs and providing support to the Director of Home and Community Based Services. Essential Functions
Candidates must be committed to the independent living philosophy and serving the needs of a diverse population. Individuals must possess This role requires strong program management, documentation, and communication skills, along with the ability to support consumers, build community partnerships, and advocate for independence. Proficiency with technology, adaptability, and flexibility to travel within the state of Missouri are also essential.
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s Degree in social work or a related human services field from an accredited program, or an Associate’s Degree in social work or a related human services field with at least two years of experience in case management or transition coordination for the elderly or individuals with disabilities, or four or more years of experience providing such services. In addition, candidates must have at least five years of experience with community outreach.
Benefits
This is a non-exempt, full-time position Monday – Friday with an hourly wage commensurate with experience. Excellent benefits package including health, dental, vision, life, and short-term disability insurance along with employer subsidized health insurance deductible.

The Receptionist provides office assistance at a branch location, ensuring smooth communication and data services for both consumers and staff. This role supports the agency’s mission, vision, values, and principles by fostering a welcoming and efficient office environment. A high school diploma or GED is required for this position. Previous reception experience or equivalent customer service skills are preferred.
Terms
This is a non-exempt, part-time position Monday – Friday, 10am – 2pm with an hourly wage commensurate with experience.
