Full-Time CDS Specialist

WILS IS ON THE GROW! West-Central Independent Living Solutions (WILS), a company which empowers people with disabilities to live independently, is seeking a full-time Consumer Directed Services (CDS) Specialist (case worker) to join our team working from the Sedalia office. Candidates must be committed to the independent living philosophy and serving the needs of a diverse population. Individuals must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as strong organizational and time management abilities. Essential functions as a CDS Specialist include coordination and case management of services, maintaining data regarding service assessments, and providing assistance and referrals to people with disabilities.

Qualifications: Bachelor Degree in Human Services or related field of study. Relevant case management experience may be substituted for education. This is a non-exempt position at a rate of $15.00 per hour.  Excellent benefits package including 100% employer paid health, dental, vision, life, and short-term disability insurance.

Part-Time PCA for VetAssist®

WILS IS ON THE GROW!  West-Central Independent Living Solutions (WILS), a company which empowers people with disabilities to live independently, is seeking part-time PRN employees to be a Personal Care Attendant (PCA) for our VetAssist® program working for WILS.  Candidates must be committed to the independent living philosophy and serving the needs of a diverse population. Essential functions as a Personal Care Attendant include assisting with personal care, mobility and transfer, housekeeping, meal preparation and eating, transportation and other duties.

You must be able to pass a background screening and drug test, and possess or obtain (written test only) a Class E driver’s license. Candidates will have the opportunity to make up to $12.00 per hour and may work from a few up to 28 hours per week with different veterans and spouses.

Class E Drivers

WILS IS ON THE GROW! West-Central Independent Living Solutions (WILS), a company which empowers people with disabilities to live independently, is seeking part-time and full-time drivers to join our team in Sedalia and Warrensburg offices.  The candidates must be committed to the independent living philosophy and serving the needs of a diverse population.  Must possess communication and interpersonal skills, strict adherence to confidentiality, as well as a superb driving record.  Essential functions include transporting consumers to and from appointments or errands, maintaining the cleanliness of transportation vehicles, and ensuring trip paperwork is accurate and completed for each trip.  You must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.

Qualifications:  Class E Driver License and 3 years driving experience. These are non-exempt positions at a rate of $13.00 per hour.  Full-time benefits include 100% Employer paid health, dental, vision, short-term disability, life insurances along with 401k retirement and paid time off.
