Project Community Connect is a remarkable one-day, one-stop shop event dedicated to providing essential services to individuals in our community who are experiencing various needs. This event is open to all, with no registration required, and no proof of income or housing status needed. The primary goal is to deliver real assistance and support to those in need, fostering a sense of togetherness and community spirit.
Services Offered:
- Dental Services: Dental check-ups and treatments to ensure oral health.
- Medical Services: Access to medical professionals for general healthcare needs.
- Vision Services: Eye exams and assistance with eyeglasses for improved vision.
- Mental Health Services: Support for mental health and well-being.
- Employment Assistance: Guidance and resources for job seekers.
- Haircuts On Site: Free haircuts for a fresh look and improved self-esteem.
- Lunch Provided: Nutritious meals available to all attendees.
- Birth/Death Certificates: (For MO residents only) Assistance with obtaining vital records.
- Many Other Services: Additional services and resources, including WILS will also be on site to provide information and referrals to other assistance in the community.
Event Logistics:
- Parking: Event parking is available at the UCM Multipurpose Building.
- Shuttles: Free shuttle services will run between the UCM Multipurpose Building and the event location from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, making it convenient for attendees to access the event.
