Accessible Transportation Services

WILS  consumers can schedule appointments for accessible transportation services so they can access health and wellness needs such as doctor appointments, grocery shopping, pharmacy pick-ups, physical therapy or fitness, and more.

WILS Accessible Transportation Eligibility

  • Individual must reside in WILS’ Service Area of Benton, Lafayette, Henry, Johnson, Saline and Pettis Counties in Missouri.
  • Discounted fees available for those with low-income, seniors, and people with disabilities

Transportation Sliding Fee Discount Program

It is WILS goal to provide essential services which allows individuals to live independently. This program is designed to provide these essential services at a discounted rate, up to no cost to consumers who have no means to pay. WILS will base program eligibility on a person’s ability to pay and will not discriminate on the basis of age, gender, race, creed, disability or national origin. The Federal Poverty Guidelines, which can be found at www.aspe.hhs.gov/poverty, are used in creating and annually updating the sliding fee schedule to determine eligibility. Discounts on services are offered based on household size and annual income.

Accessible Transportation Services Funding

WILS Transportation Service is funded from Vocational Rehabilitation Services, Missouri Department of Transportation Elderly and Handicapped Transportation Assistance Program, corporate and individual donations and WILS fund raising efforts. Donate today to help WILS Transportation program assist individuals with disabilities in rural Missouri access health and wellness care they need.

MO Rides allows you to search for transportation across Missouri.  Searches can be done by county, “use my current location” or through an interactive map.

Missouri’s Get a Ride is a resource guide aimed at increasing access to free and low-cost transportation providers across Missouri so residents can find transportation to COVID vaccine distribution locations.  

Oats Transit is a 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation providing transportation to 87 counties in Missouri.  OATS transportation is available to anyone regardless of age, income, disability, race, gender, religion, or national origin.
