What are Independent Living Life Skills?
The heart and soul of Independent Living is being in control of your own life. WILS functions as an independent living skills resource center to help you gain that control by providing independent living skills training and combining it with daily living skills.
WILS empowers individuals with disabilities and provides techniques so they can participate fully in daily living, recreational and/or social opportunities, and vocational or volunteering activities. Through the creation of consumer goals, WILS assists motivated individuals to gain greater overall independence.
