Right-click on the ‘DL Desktop Preview’ icon on your desktop to open the context menu.
2 Show More Options (00:26)
Click ‘Show more options’ from the context menu.
3 Manage Repositories (00:29)
Hover over ‘Document Locator’ in the extended context menu, then click ‘Manage Repositories’ from the submenu to open the ‘Manage Repositories’ window.
4 Remove Old Repository (00:36)
Right-click the ‘WILS’ repository listed in the ‘Manage Repositories’ window, then click ‘Remove Repository’ from the context menu.
5 Confirm Repository Removal (00:46)
Click ‘Yes’ on the ‘Document Locator’ confirmation dialog asking ‘Are you sure you wish to remove repository (WILS)?’.
6 Add New Repository (00:47)
Click ‘File’ in the top left corner of the ‘Manage Repositories’ window, then click ‘Add Repository’ from the dropdown menu to open the ‘Connection Configuration’ dialog.
7 Select Connection Type (00:52)
Click the ‘Connection Type’ dropdown menu and select ‘SQL Server (NT Account)’ from the options.
8 Enter Server Name (00:56)
Type ‘SQL25’ into the ‘Server Name’ field.

Type ‘WILS’ into the ‘Repository Name’ field.

Click the ‘OK’ button to establish the connection.
11 Close Manage Repositories (01:09)
Click the ‘Close’ button (red X) in the top right corner of the ‘Manage Repositories’ window.
12 Open DL Desktop Preview (01:17)
)Double-click the ‘DL Desktop Preview’ icon on your desktop to open the Document Locator application.
13 Access Documents (01:31)
Click on ‘WILS’ in the ‘Document Locator’ window, then double-click ‘Documents’ to view the available documents.
14 Enable Preview Pane (01:38)
Click the ‘Settings’ icon (gear) in the top right corner of the ‘Document Locator’ window, then click ‘Preview Pane’ from the dropdown menu to enable the document preview.
15 Maximize Window (01:50)
Maximize the ‘Document Locator’ window to stretch it across the screen for better visibility.
